The Gulf Coast Swap Shop is a free personal advertising show for our listeners, and is by far, our most popular feature program. Folks call in to buy, sell, or trade personal items such as cars, boats, lawn equipment, furniture, houses, appliances and much more. This program reaches all demographic and socioeconomic categories and is utilized by thousands of residents throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
The Gulf Coast Swap Shop is broadcast six days a week, from 9:05am until 10:00am – Monday through Saturday.

HOW TO USE THE SWAP SHOP
Once the phone rings, just hang on… your call will be answered by the host of the program in the order your call is received. You will hear the host talking in the background, so wait patiently and the host will begin talking to you, and welcome you to the Swap Shop. That’s your cue to begin your ad.
Speak up a bit and list your items, descriptions, prices, your phone number, and the best time to call. The host will repeat your list of items and contact number back to you to make sure that it was recorded correctly for our records… and that’s it! Easy, right ?
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
TURN YOUR RADIO DOWN IN THE BACKGROUND.
A radio playing in the background while you are on the air causes feedback, a loud squealing or echo effect. If this occurs, the host will ask you to turn it down once you get on the air, so please turn your radio down before you call.
PLAN AHEAD
Write down your items, descriptions, and prices on a piece of paper before you phone in so that you can easily recall everything you want to advertise.

This is the WABF Swap Shop Online Posting Site. We ask that you limit your online items to 3 items per day. Please note that all submissions made on this site may only be read ONCE during the WABF Swap Shop… and that these submissions may not appear on the DAILY SWAP SHOP RECAP sheet.
