WABF Radio first began on the Eastern Shore in the early 1960’s and since then it has been a major resource of news, information, and entertainment for our local residents, businesses, and welcome visitors to the area.

Who are we?

The Eastern Shore’s locally owned and operated radio station located on South Section Street in Fairhope.

What type music do we play?

Adult Standards from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, to Elton John and Celine Dion. We call it “America’s Best Music From the Past Five Decades”.

Who listens to us?

Thousands of adults primarily over 40 years of age in Baldwin and Mobile Counties. Many of our listeners are over the age of 50, which is the largest demographic with the highest amount of dispensable income in the U.S.

What special features do we broadcast?

The Gulf Coast Swap Shop, an extremely popular free personal advertising show broadcast Monday-Saturday from 9:05am-10am.
